Branding and graphic/media language for Strauss-Elite’s coffee growing brand.
As part of this project, we created a design concept that highlighted the coffee farmers themselves,
which we then used to develop the packaging, advertising material, interior design, and more.
These days, drinking espresso at home is already seen as normal. Capsules? Every home has them, just
like instant coffee. BeanZ takes things a step further by bringing the artisanal coffee experience to your
home. Coffee growers and farmers from around the globe supply a variety of surprising coffee blends,
which are roasted and packaged in small quantities to ensure freshness and optimal quality. Then, a
small automatic home coffee machine grinds the beans, for a simple and convenient artisanal coffee
During our work on the branding project for BeanZ – Strauss Coffee’s innovative new coffee company –
we created the brand’s graphic and media language, coffee packaging, shipping cartons, coffee cups,
and the entire cafe experience, including marketing communication, advertising, wall menus, clothing,
and wall elements.
The packaging design is reminiscent of large jute sacks full of coffee, while the farmer illustrations
remind us that the blend really does come from farms around the world – a blend isn’t just about a
coffee’s strength, but its origins too.
